Meet Business Development Manager, Ashley Hooley
Many of Flexware’s long-time customers know Ashley Hooley from her time supporting our marketing events or customer proposals. However, in 2023, Ashley moved into a dedicated sales role to serve various Flexware customers more directly.
In her role, Ashley supports manufacturers by:
- Guiding and assisting with the selection of an MES tool. This type of project typically involves bringing different departments (IT/OT) together to productively work through user and security requirements, defining and documenting system requirements, providing consultation and sharing best practices, facilitating an MES workshop with leaders and project stakeholders, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert to support decision-makers as they weigh options. Ashley shared, “When customers spend time with this first step, they tend to see better adoption and, overall, a more successful MES implementation.”
- Performing an architecture or server assessment. Ashley’s customers often partner with Flexware to thoroughly review their network or controls connectivity. By having Flexware assess system architecture, document findings, and make recommendations, manufacturers can lean on third-party, non-biased expertise as they work to build business and project plans.
- Providing embedded (onsite or remote) project engineering support. Companies facing workforce challenges can turn to Ashley for engineering talent. Recently, a customer needed around-the-clock support during the first six weeks of production on a new line. Flexware provided local, onsite development and troubleshooting support to get and keep them going.
- Providing custom software development. Unique problems often require a customized solution. Ashley works with customers to deliver solutions to help automate manual data entry, make changes to operator user interfaces, and pull together data for dashboards.
Reach out to Ashley if Flexware can help with your challenges.
Director of Marketing
I’m drawn to better and smarter ways of working and communicating. Many times that involves technology. Sometimes it doesn’t. Either way, work can and should be improved – continuously. I’m drawn to the mission of Flexware Innovation for these reasons. We’re committed to unleashing the potential of technology, freeing up leaders to focus on what’s next.
