Flexware Innovation, an Indiana-based systems integrator and engineering firm, was recently featured on WISH-TV 8’s Business Equity & Opportunities show to showcase its participation in National Engineers Week. The segment highlighted some of the fun activities that Flexware did during the week, including a donation to the non-profit organization “Black Girls Do Engineer“.
During the video segment, Matt Heiden, Director of Recruiting at Flexware, talks about the company’s culture and core values of “never stop learning”, as well as the latest manufacturing industry trends that Flexware is seeing. This commitment to engineering excellence and innovation is reflected in Flexware’s mission to keep manufacturing jobs in Indy, which is why the company recruits engineers of all backgrounds.
At Flexware, National Engineers Week is a time to celebrate the contributions of engineers to society and to inspire the next generation of innovators. “The passion behind Flexware for me is that we care about our people,” Heiden says. “We want the best for them and we want to give them a career and opportunities that they can grow and evolve into and stay here.”

I’m drawn to better and smarter ways of working and communicating. Many times that involves technology. Sometimes it doesn’t. Either way, work can and should be improved – continuously. I’m drawn to the mission of Flexware Innovation for these reasons. We’re committed to unleashing the potential of technology, freeing up leaders to focus on what’s next.
