Flexware Engineers Celebrate Engineers Week 2025
FISHERS, Indiana (February 6, 2025) — Flexware Innovation announced a full slate of activities during National Engineers Week. The annual Engineers Week, founded in 1951, takes place February 16-22, 2025, and is celebrated by academic and engineering organizations around the globe. Flexware is a manufacturing technology integrator and employs software, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers, among others. “We look forward to this every year and include executive leadership, our central ops team, HR, marketing, and engineering in our planning,” said Matt Heiden, Director of People Operations. Heiden explained that Will Nichols, a longtime Flexware engineer, was the catalyst for what has become a Flexware tradition.
Activities will engage Flexware employees, customers, and partners. Additional activities will inspire the next generation of engineers and encourage underrepresented groups to pursue engineering as a profession. And for the first time, the company welcomes the engineers of Castle Hill Technologies, a recent Flexware acquisition. Castle Hill is based in Garner, NC and was founded in 1999.

Livestreaming Events to Recognize Engineers Week
Flexware will recognize Engineers Week during a planned livestream featuring the company’s SparkMES® solution The livestream is hosted by Flexware Innovation and takes place February 20, 2025, 1:00PM – 2:00PM Eastern: https://bit.ly/2025engineersweek.

Employee Recognition and Engagement
Tech Talk sessions will invite Flexware employees to present either personal or professional projects on which they are working. These internal presentations take place on Monday of Engineers Week. A “thank you” lunch will be offered on Tuesday to company employees, both on-site and remote. Finally, Thursday will feature an Engineering Challenge that tasks employees with solving a defined problem using only the tools and methods allowed. Heiden explained that Engineers Week is a good opportunity to show appreciation for the team of engineers and practice the company’s core value of “Never Stop Learning.”
Youth Outreach
Flexware engineers will host a homeschool co-op of high school students. The event will include presentations from Flexware engineers on STEM as a career. Students will receive a tour of Flexware’s corporate headquarters and the teams that make up the company.
Women in Engineering
A representative of Flexware’s Women of Flexware group will share a message on the impact women can have in an industry where they are historically underrepresented.
