Apple Pies for Angels

Help us bring the Best Christmas Ever
to thousands of Angels in Central Indiana

Baking Instructions:

  1. Keep frozen until ready to use. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Remove pie from box; remove top foil from pie. Pie will drip; use a baking sheet!
  3. Bake approximately an hour. Ovens are different, time is approximate.
    • Pie is done baking when juices are bubbling and begin to caramelize.
  4. If the crust browns too fast, wrap edge with foil and continue baking.
  5. Let cool for at least an hour to allow filling to set.

Try it “Original Style” – Top pie with toasted pecans & caramel syrup, serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Now that the oven is warm, the pie is baking, and the smell of fresh apples and cinnamon fill the air, please consider a small donation to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program and make this the Best Christmas Ever! Thank you.

About the Campaign

Apple Pies for Angels is a fundraiser that provides Christmas gifts to hundreds of children in need every year through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. In 2018, Apple Pies for Angels began with a crazy idea: a homemade apple pie fundraiser around Thanksgiving could provide Christmas gifts for children in need. With a delicious recipe, the gracious help of the Flexware Foundation and most importantly, your incredibly generous support, Apple Pies for Angels has surpassed all goals and has continued growing every year.

To date, Apple Pies for Angels has produced 3769 delicious apple pies, raised $188,562 (through 2024), and most importantly provided Christmas for 2213 Angels.

This year we hope to continue the success of last year and make this the Best Christmas Ever.
