Flexware is seeking a very special Program Manager for one of our key clients. This would be a contract position in the SW New York Area. We are targeting a minimum of 6 months with the potential for a longer engagement. Travel and living costs will be covered.
Our client is a manufacturing assembly company that is seeking to improve quality through better systems, manual and automated error proofing, education and training, and other avenues.
Ideally, this professional could spend a good deal of time in the plant up front, with the potential to work remote as projects get moving and teams work autonomously.
The ideal candidate would be a strong leader, high emotional intelligence, and have a good deal of manufacturing experience to draw upon. Process improvement experts, manufacturing engineers, and engineering managers are ideal. Since there are PLCs, visions systems, and other automation, networks, and databases, it would also be beneficial if this person could manage projects that touch these solutions.
