1. Making our customer’s vision a reality through innovative problem solving to create positive results.
One of the most rewarding parts of my job as VP of Engineering at Flexware Innovation is working with manufacturing customers on a business issue and forming the concept for a solution they need and then bringing the vision to life. It’s very exciting to take their idea and turn it into a “touch and feel” real world application, which is where we excel at Flexware Innovation, Inc.
Our talented engineering team has worked with various clients in the life science, automotive, food and beverage, and medical device manufacturing industries. Regardless the industry, we always thrive on taking a customer’s issue from solution concept to implementation. As a result, our customers can use the newly implemented solution to achieve many results such as:
- improve productivity,
- minimize downtown,
- reduce financial costs,
- and/or provide their customers products with improved quality and delivery.
2. Being a trusted advisor, not just a vendor.
We find ourselves in the position of being not just a vendor, but a trusted advisor in bringing someone’s vision to reality: a real, functional solution. It just doesn’t get much better than that. We love it when a client feels comfortable enough to call and ask us, “so Jeff, what would you do this in situation?” or, “what are your ideas on this?” It shows us that our clients trust our opinion and knowledge. One of our clients once said:
I recommended that our IT and Operations groups partner with Flexware Innovation because they are an independent company that can function as an advisor to our organization. Their experiences and capabilities allow them to act as a translator and trainer between Information Technology and our business units. As part of a selection process for enterprise software, Flexware helped us understand the requirements, draft our requirements documents, and interview prospective partners. Their input and guidance throughout this process has been very beneficial to the leadership of our company.” -President, Life Science Company
3. Utilizing our highly developed technical skills.
One of the challenges in being the right system integrator is the broad definition that is often applied within industry regarding specialization and expertise. Some professionals focus on specific related tasks, such as programmable logic controller (PLC) programming, configuring sensors, and building system control panels. Others offer a full range of hardware and software support, from installation, configuration, programming to complex, and higher-level systems development in the space of enterprise resource planning (ERP) decision-support platforms.
For the customer, the challenge is whether to engage with a generalist firm offering a broad menu of services and wide systems expertise, or a specialist with highly developed skills in specific technology solution sets, such as HMI programming or SCADA control system support. The recipe for trouble always occurs when a specialist offers to solve a manufacturing execution system (MES) or other advanced technology issue without a track record of working with complex industrial control systems.
Fortunately at Flexware Innovation, Inc. we are able to deliver a wider range of experience with the high level of specialization when needed. We have that proven track record in areas from the manufacturing floor, through MES, to the ERP layer.
What makes for an ideal project for Flexware Innovation, Inc.?
All of our engineers would agree that we love solving complex business problems while utilizing our technical expertise. Our capabilities and expertise range from automation integration, business intelligence, to software development, and more complex projects requiring a high level of creativity and innovation.
And with all of these capabilities, we pride ourselves on “owning it and saying it like it is.” We understand that communication and time to execute are of the utmost importance and, in many instances, may make the difference between a successful project and a good idea that ends up in the “circular file.”
